摘要
The execution of the ERASMUS Programme in technical universities needs the solution of many specific educational and organizing problems. These problems are connected and associated with differences in the educational systems for professional engineers in different countries and thus, with differences in curricula of study as well as in course detailed programmes. The ERASMUS Programme has been carried out in Poland since 1987. Despite its scope and objectives being broadened over almost 30 years, the main idea remains the same - development of international cooperation among universities. Approaches to the execution of the ERASMUS Programme on the basis of Bialystok University of Technology and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology were presented. The educational offers for ERASMUS students, the effective methods of teaching and the ways of solving other problems were compared. The factors influencing the development of both student and teaching staff mobility were analyzed. The role of the Erasmus Student Network was discussed. The effects of experiences from the ERASMUS Programme on changes in the process of education in both universities were presented.
