摘要
The article gives an overview on studies in which the quality of life of deaf and hard-of-hearing children has been investigated. DHH children mostly have a lower quality of life than hearing children, although the results reveal a high developmental variability. In particular, the children's social relationships and their experiences in everyday school life are especially challenging for the children's quality of life. For children in inclusive settings, the importance of listening quality in the classroom and communicative participation is significant for the quality of life. © 2021. Thieme. All rights reserved.
