摘要
The structural and optical properties of zinc tellurite glasses doped with Ho3+ and Pr3+ using Raman spectroscopy are investigated. The Raman spectroscopy identified changes in glass phonon energy and structural disorder caused by the chemical bond breaks with addition of rare earth ions in the host matrix. The glass composition and rare earth concentration changed the intensity of Boson peaks, Te-O-Te, TeO3 and TeO4 structural units. Analyses showed a decrease in Boson peaks intensities when Pr3+ was added to the glass matrix. The behavior of light emission intensity indicates that the structural disorder of the glass yields significant changes in the luminescent properties of the material. The emission spectra indicates the presence of Pr -> Ho energy transfer mechanism when excited at 443 nm.
