摘要
Cross-dating tree-ring for trees growing in humid and high alitude areas is difficult. We propose a new approach for tree-ring dating that combines the digital radiography image and the subsection of tree-ring image using Pinus aiwanensis for testing. The width and density chronology of tree-ring were constructed, and the correlation analysis between annual index and climate factor had been conducted. The results indicate that subsection of image could help reduce global errors, and analyzing tree-ring variation within sections could, increase the accuracy and reliability in tree-ring dating.
