Power Delivery by a Novel Multi-Stage DC/AC Converter Based on Multilevel AC/AC Converter

摘要
This paper presents a novel topology for multi-stage converter. The proposed circuit consists of three-parts: H-bridge voltage source converter, high or medium frequency (HF or MF) transformer and AC/AC converter. The proposed converter can generate staircase (near sinusoidal) output voltage and it can change voltage level. This converter can be used as symmetric or asymmetric converter. In many applications it may be available through renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic panels or fuel cells or with energy storage devices such as capacitors or batteries. Simulation results carried out by MATLAB/SIMULINK show the voltage production capability of converter. Copyright (C) 2011 Praise Worthy Prize S.r.l - All rights reserved
