摘要
Natural sloshing modes and frequencies are analytically approximated for an upright circular cylindrical tank equipped with an array of vertical poles (pipes), as happens, for example, in shafts of ocean platforms. The method leads to exact analytical solutions when they exist and demonstrates rather good accuracy in other cases. The approximate natural frequencies are compared with an existing asymptotic estimate.
