A new optical coordinator with remote maintenance through Internet

This paper introduces a new optical coodinator with remote maintenance through Internet, which consists of LED point light sources and CCD linear arrays. The data which are gathered by CCD linear arrays transmitted to the remote computer through Internet, meanwhile the user's command also can be transmitted through Internet to the coordinator, as a result, it is very convenient for maintenance. This instrument has been awarded a chinese patent (Patent No: ZL 2003 2 0120397.5). A brief introduction of the coordinator with emphasis on the function of remote maintenance is recounted. The software consists of two parts: the server and the client, while entering into the system, server will conduct a figure examination, only if passing the examination you can measure, control and maintain the coordinator Field test data has shown the advantages of high accuracy, stability and reliability as well as enable of automatic monitoring of the coordinate gauge.
