摘要
It is important for firms to exploit technological and marketing resources in the inernational markets. Social capital has been recognized as an significant tool for firms to promote exploitative internationalization. However, existing research do not uncover the fitness between social capital and exploitative internationalization. Based on the data of international manufacturing firms, this paper explores the differential impact of business network capital, governmental network capital, knowledge network capital on exploitative internationalization. The results show that business network capital and knowledge network capital both have positive impact on exploitative internationalization, but governmental network capital has no significant positive impact on exploitative internationalization. Theoretical and managerial implications are discussed.
