Intelligent automatic control systems

The evolution of automatic control systems from the point of view of the use of the principles of adaptation and artificial intelligence in them is considered. Some general principles and specific methods of designing intelligent control systems for systems with nonlinear dynamics that function under conditions of uncertainty are discussed, To illustrate these principles, an analytical survey is made of the original methods of adaptive-intelligent control of robots and of the logic-probabilistic decision rules in expert automatic control systems. Examples of the use of intelligent control systems in applied problems are described.
