摘要
Building renovation to high energy efficiency standards is a mandatory step in reducing energy consumption and CO2 emission among residential buildings. The paper presents a study on some proposed solutions for major renovation of a collective residential building located in Timisoara in order to get closer to the nearly zero energy building concept. The solutions effectiveness is presented from three main perspectives: energy efficiency, economic efficiency and positive impact on residents. The proposed solutions successfully manage to combine those three aspects with the advantage of having a high replicability potential.
