摘要
Transparent polypropylenes are gaining an ever widening acceptance for packaging applications(1)). The combination of dibenzylidenesorbitol nucleating agents with metallocene-polypropylenes leads to state of the art transparent polypropylenes that challenge polystyrenes in many applications and offer the additional benefit of improved toughness(2)). The impact of these additives on structure formation in metallocene-polypropylene during processing will be described and the mode of action on the molecular level will be discussed.
