摘要
In the seventeenth century, the moral anatomy of jealousy in court treatises freed this passion from the old Aristotelian-Thomistic typology, which associated it with envy and conceived of it exclusively in terms of the psychology of love. A sovereign passion that combines violence and exigency, jealousy serves to define political anthropology and the art of governing in the modern era.
