摘要
The calibration antenna system described here is meant to reduce the main measurement uncertainty contributors which are present in conventional antennas. It is able to transmit a stable and reproducible electromagnetic field and benefits from using a tracking generator in the frequency range 30MHz-1GHz. The antenna is optically driven by a pin-diode inside the antenna which is fed via an optical fiber. Benefits and limitations of this new antenna are explained, the anatomy of the antenna is described, and simulations are presented together with measurements. The antenna is developed to be used as an accurate reference radiator in fully (FAR) and semi-anechoic rooms (SAR).
