摘要
Creep test was studied for specimens of polymer blend prepared from HDPE and HIPS with ratios (0-100%) using single extrusion machine. Samples were immersed in liquids (H2O, HCl, NaOH) and creep rate was calculated for each case. Results showed that minimum creep rate was for (50-50%) HDPE-HIPS blend and the base solution (NaOH) has affected the samples more than other solutions after (10 weeks) in liquids. Also shore hardness was calculated and (30-70%) HDPE-HIPS blend owned the largest value compared with others. Diffusion coefficient for ratio (50-50%) was (0.5*10-12) in H2O, (0.78*10-11) in HCl, and (0.3*10-12) in NaOH. All results were discussed.
