Dynamic analysis of single-layered graphene sheet subjected to a moving nanoparticle: A molecular dynamics study

摘要
The dynamic response of a single-layered graphene sheet (SLGS) subjected to a moving nanoparticle is investigated based on the molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. The time history and maximum value of the sheet's central point deflection are considered as two main indices and reported under various circumstances. The MD simulation has the ability to provide the time history and maximum value of the central deflection along with the vibration behavior of the GS under a moving nanoparticle. The effect of the sheet's parameters, such as dimensions, surface tension, and boundary conditions, as well as the nanoparticle's parameters, including dimensions and velocity, on the dynamic response of the sheet is studied. It was found that the velocity of the nanoparticle does not significantly affect the deflection of the GS, while the boundary conditions and aspect ratio of the sheet have a noticeable impact on the dynamic and vibrational behavior of the GS.
