摘要
An overview of laser-induced breakdown spectrometry (LIES) for material microanalysis applications due to the precise focus of the laser beam is presented. The properties of LIES analysis in terms of multispectral capabilities, two and three-dimension analysis and feasibility are illustrated. The combination with gateable charge coupled devices detectors (CCD) allows time-resolved analysis of plasmas of great interest. Examples of geochemical and industrial applications are shown.
