Magnetic moment of an one-dimensional ring with spin-orbit interaction

摘要
An explicit analytic expression is obtained for the magnetic moment and persistent current of the electron gas in an one-dimensional ring taking into account the spin-orbit interaction in the Rashba model. The cases of the constant chemical potential and number of electrons are investigated. The magnetic field and the temperature dependencies of the magnetic moment and the persistent current are analyzed. (C) 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
