摘要
Real-world objects have various natural and sometimes complex relationships with each other. Via these relationships, they play various roles and then have the corresponding context-dependent properties. To naturally and directly model these situations, we have proposed a novel data model called Information Networking Model (INM). We have also designed information specification language (ISL), information manipulation language (IML) and information query language (IQL) and implemented a database management system based on INM The query language can explore the natural graph structure of INM objects to extract meaningful information in a simple, concise, and compact way. In this paper, we focus on query processing in INM database system. We have used four kinds of search strategies and the system can automatically select an appropriate strategy to efficiently process queries without user's intervention.
