Die spirituelle Dimension ist ein bedeutender Einflussfaktor auf die Lebensqualitat. Spiritual Care wird als Teil der personenzentrierten und holistischen Pflege gesehen und erkennt die Bedurfnisse, Moglichkeiten, Ressourcen und mogliche spirituelle oder religiose Limitationen von Menschen an. Spiritual Care in der Palliativversorgung kann Patient*innen und deren Angehorige in einer schwierigen Lebensphase unterstutzen.
