Electro-acoustic effects in dusty Plasmas: The dust electro-acoustic mode

摘要：
A new electro-acoustic effect related to the propagation of an acoustic mode driven by electric field "pressure" in dusty plasmas is described. In this mode the dust space charge is screened due to adiabatic dust charge fluctuations, while the inertia is due to the dust mass. The mode exists for moderately large value of the dust density.
