High-Power Wideband Klystrons with Cavities on Higher Mode and Multibeam Drift Tubes

摘要
Designs of high-power klystrons with cavities on higher modes and multi-beam drift tubes for operation in the medium frequency part of the centimeter wavelength band have been investigated. The optimal design of the klystron with the working mode of active cavities H-201 has been determined. On the basis of the proposed design there have been developed and released for production klystrons, among them with a recordly wide bandwidth 6.3% in C frequency band, with output average power more than 10 kW, output peak power 200 kW, with low-voltage modulation.
