摘要
During the recycling of graphic paper products printing inks make an important part of the impurities which must be removed. Especially water based printing inks are challenging. The aim of this investigation was the development of a new flotation technology that can remove water based printing inks. It has been investigated if special foams, called micro bubbles, can be used. The micro bubbles are generated by a rotating disk in a beaker with special baffles included. By using this technology the optical quality of process water samples could be improved and between 60 - 90% of all solids could be removed.
