摘要：
The Cerenkov radiation excited by a solid relativistic electron beam in a plasma-filled slow-wave structure was analysed recently (Wu et al., 1996, Int. J. Electronics, 81, 207). It is the purpose of the present comment to show that the boundary condition at the beam-plasma interface used in this work is incorrect.
