CH4-CO2 reforming anti-carbon deposition catalyst

摘要
The reforming of CH4 with CO2 was carried oat over alumina-supported nickel catalysts: with or without La2O3 or CeO2 at 873 K and 973 K. Rare earth oxides promoted the activity of nickel catalysts 50% and 28% at 873 K, 49% and 23% at 973 K respectively for La2O3 and CeO2. XRD result showed that rare earth oxides can Inhibit the formation of NIAL(2)O(4), which is inactive to the reforming of CH4 and CO2. XPS result Indicated a small increase in the BE of the nickel 2pa/a line at oxidation state because of the addition of La2O3 or CeO2. It was observed by TW that nickel particles entering rate was retarded by La2O3 and CeO2.
