摘要
The effects of first-nozzle pressure, second-nozzle pressure, yarn count, and blend ratio on the proportions of the three structural classes of air-jet-spun yarns and on different fiber types (wrapper, core, and mild) are studied. The results show that there is a significant interaction between the different process and material parameters in determining the yarn structure. The distribution of the structural classes of air-jet-spun yarns relative to each other and along the yarn length is analyzed by using co-occurrence matrices. The analysis shows that the three structural classes are distributed at random relative to each other. Although random with respect to each other, their distribution along the yarn length follows a pattern that may depend on the process conditions and yarn characteristics.
