Application of simulation modelling to the shipbuilding process

摘要：
A simulation method has been used for a real shipbuilding process and its particular limitations to analyze various equipment configurations and product assortments. An approach based on a computer model of the shipbuilding production process and a simulation of various scenarios is proposed. The model of a real robotized production line for profile cutting has been developed and simulation performed. Based on the performed analysis, an optimal line layout has been proposed.
