摘要
Tycho Brahe and Johannes Kepler each made an extraordinary contribution to science - but it was in combination that their work achieved a sea change in humanity's understanding of our place in the universe. Brahe's astonishingly detailed observations of the visible heavenly bodies are a marvel even today, but it was not until his death that Kepler was able to use this data to establish his laws of planetary motion. Like the cosmos they laboured to understand, these two individuals were complex, wonderful, and far from perfect. When such giant intellects collided, great and terrible things were bound to transpire.
