摘要
Autonomous vehicles have increasingly become a critical technology with advantages of safety, effectiveness, and convenience after major advancements in both vehicle sensor technology and intelligent sensing algorithms. Among all modules for autonomous vehicles, the perception modules are essential components, and the in-vehicle camera is one of them. Thus, this research concentrates on the theory and applications of in-vehicle cameras, with the description of properties and performances. In addition, classical perception algorithms in the field of autonomous driving are discussed. Finally, this paper takes a summary of the recent progress of in-vehicle cameras, as well as future work.
