摘要
We describe the use of fiber-optic low coherence reflectometry to noninvasively acquire three-dimensional images of lysozyme protein crystals in solution with a 1-5-mu m depth resolution. This type of noninvasive protein crystal growth monitoring might ultimately be used to improve the growth processes in microgravity environments. (C) 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
