摘要
We review progress in the operating performance of wavelength- and nano-scale cavity lasers. Photonics crystal lasers with wavelength-scale cavities exhibit ultra-low operating energy. Nanolasers are expected to lower operating energy as well as fabrication costs through direct growth on Si substrate.
