摘要：
This paper focuses an kg factors contributing to nicotine's addictiveness and on therapeutic strategies used in the treatment of tobacco abuse. The roles of physical dependence, tolerance and sensitization, and pharmacokinetic factors are considered. Past and present therapeutic strategies for the treatment of tobacco abuse are discussed.
