摘要
Patients with insulin-dependent diabetes, with non-insulin dependent diabetes and with non-insulin-dependend diabetes combined with ischemic heart disease comprised respectively three groups studied by myocardial imaging with Thallium-201 during bicycle exercise test. In patients with diabetes of both types scintigraphy revealed myocardial hypoperfusion and signs of myocardial ischemia. Myocardial damage in diabetes mellitus was caused by metabolic disturbances and was different in patients with insulindependent (type I) and non-insulin-dependent (type II) diabetes. In type II it was mainly caused by widespread microangiopathy. In type 2 cardiomyopathy resembled ischemic heart disease with rapid progression and with some special features of clinical course. Analysis of scitigrams revealed close correlation between frequency of registration and extent of myocardial perfusion defects and tolerance to physical effort.
