摘要
The article introduces a broad concept of the term "cultural poetics": it attempts to cover under such a term all the types of texts that belong to a specific national literature and function as a manifestation of identity. Such a function can be based on their genre and poetic features as well as on their position inside of a historical development. Ballads [and one of their specific forms, "morytat"], idylls [and idyllic approaches] and non-fictional treatises have acquired such a genre status in a broad sense of the term "cultural poetics" in the context of Czech literature of the 19th and 20th centuries. They offer literary fields for forming up and developing the notion of identity. Moreover, they enter the inventory of the Czech cultural text. The article proceeds to outline the inventory of the Czech cultural text and deals with the issue of the impact of "cultural poetics" awareness upon the reception of a text in case of Czech and non-Czech readers.
