摘要
Magnetrheological (MR) fluid is widely used in industry due to its rheological behavior. It is difficult to analyze and control a MR fluid system because rheology would induce hysteresis. Based on phase transformation theory, a nonlinear differential equation was proposed to simulate the hysteresis. The hysteresis is considered as exterior features of rheological phenomena and is associated with bifurcations in dynamic systems. Simulation results by using this model are compared with experimental results. Using the proposed model, the dynamical behavior of the MR fluids are modeled properly. Furthermore, the dependence of the dynamical characters of MR fluids on the loading rate are also captured. Simulation results show that the hysteresis loop is heavily influenced by the loading rate.
