摘要
The temperature dependence of photoluminescence properties and decay times in the range 10-300K is reported for Eu2+ doped NASICON-type phosphate CaZr4(PO4)(6). Luminescence from the Eu2+ impurity has been investigated. Two different Eu2+ centers have been detected in the host structure, 3a and 3b, corresponding to the emission bands peaking at 531 and 480 nm. The emission intensity and lifetimes decrease with increasing temperature due to temperature quenching. The values of Stokes shift, quenching temperature T-1/2 and activation energy for thermal quenching are evaluated. The mechanism of thermal quenching is also discussed. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd.
