Engaging Leadership in Electrical Safety and Maintenance

Building and maintaining a complete electrical safety and maintenance program requires an investment in time and money; however, when budgets are tightly managed and the budget holders aren't electrically inclined, how does one sell the need and cost of the required investment to develop and maintain a good electrical safety and maintenance program? This article describes the approach utilized for over a decade at one facility to make sure that electrical safety and maintenance is ingrained as part of the culture. © 1975-2012 IEEE.
