摘要
The paper deals with data processing in a sample case of Eddy Current Testing in a conducting body. The eddy current pattern is computed and used as a data set to detect the presence and shape of possible defects. The paper aims in particular to assess the potential advantages one can achieve when the signal processing includes not only the amplitude but also the phase delay angle. It is shown how a hybrid neuro-fuzzy processor is well suited for this kind of investigation. Results are given in terms of accuracy of the reconstruction of the geometric parameters of the defects.
