Results from the analysis of data collected with 50 m2 RPC at the Yangbajing Laboratory

摘要
A full coverage age RPC carpet of similar to 10(4) m(2) (the ARGO- YBJ experiment) will be nstalled in the nest few years in the Yangbajing Laboratory (Tibet, P.R.China) at an altitude of 4300 m a.s.l. A test carpet Covering similar to 50 m(2) has been pul in operation during 1998 in order to study both the RPC's performance at high altitude and the detector capability of reconstructing shower features. Results from the analysis of the similar to 10(6) air shower events collected are presented.
