An integrated approach to project quality: The owner's perspective

This paper outlines an integrated approach to project quality that, as owners, we have been actively pursuing for the past ten years. Our goal, and the goal of the consultants and contractors we engage, is a successful project. The quality tool we use to help us achieve this goal is team work in the implementation our respective quality programs and evaluating the effectiveness of these quality programs is the means we use to secure improvements for all of the project team members. Successful projects satisfy our needs as the owner and also meet the needs of our contractors and consultants to deliver high quality services to us in a way that is profitable for them.
