This report highlights the main UK copyright decisions in 2019, which relate to joint authorship of copyright works; the right to communicate a work to the public in the context of an audio streaming service; blocking injunctions in cases involving a breach of the statutory protections against the circumvention of technological protection measures; the subsistence of copyright in unconventional subject matter; and the availability of Norwich Pharmacal orders against internet service providers.
