摘要
Negative water balance and unpredictability of precipitation in regions on Semiarid climate are obstacles to plant production for food and local livestock. The implantation of an embedded system on Reference of Architectural Model Industry 4.0 was the possible way to operationalize perennial groundwater availability on a real-time and remote monitoring of vacuum pump to hydraulic system: soil-plant-atmosphere. The field-installed Embedded System Box did storing data, giving programmed and taught commands and sending the information to cloud via 30. The human-machine interface was performed by mobile device (Tablet). This management resulted in a biomass production increase, cost reduction, energy, and ecology efficiency, and increase in quality of cactus Opuntia ficus-indica (Mill, Cactaceae) production in the Brazilian Semi-arid. The main contributions of this work were to make production data and targets predictable, with a redundant method of analysis of the main variable (dry biomass), and to reduce plant growth retarding events.
