The Russian Orthodox Church and Russian Politics Editors' Introduction

The articles in the current issue of Russian Politics and Law focus on the relationship between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian state as it has evolved since the enthronement of Patriarch Kirill I in early 2009. The issue sets analytical articles side by side with programmatic statements by the patriarch, the opinions of secularly oriented state actors, and voices from within Russian society.
