Normality and normativity. Between phenomenology and structuralism

First of all, the author is - in opposition to the quarrel fratricide distinguishing structuralists and phenomenologues as being opposite to each other pointing out the central motives dominating the debate between these two movements. In the following, B. Waldenfels develops a new problematic considering the phenomenological and structuralistical perspectives as crossing each other. The problematic is the normalisation - being understood as the process of embodiment and as genesis of norms - whose central subject is the difference between the ordinary and extra-ordinary.
