The role of communication in the knowledge sharing process in the organizational environment

The problem to be clarified in the research addresses how communication can contribute to knowledge sharing. As objectives that guide the study, the exploration of the concepts of communication and knowledge management is presented in order to present the contribution and meaning of organizational communication in knowledge sharing. The methodology to reach the proposed objective was the bibliographical exploratory research, through the consultation of books, theses, dissertations and scientific periodicals related to organizational communication, knowledge sharing and knowledge management. It concludes that for the generation of knowledge in an organization, adequate communication is essential and requires seeking the construction of elements that can help in the sharing of knowledge at the organizational level so that organizations can take advantage of the benefits arising from communication and management of the knowledge.
