摘要
This paper introduces a new flotation device: LM flotation cell. On the basis of laboratory and pilot plant tests, it is shown that this equipment possesses many advantages, such as excellent beneficiation ability, short flotation time, high enrichment ratio, low energy consumption, simple flotation flowsheets, etc. In general, if this flotation equipment is applied two cells can replace six to eight cells of conventional flotation machines. Under the same flotation indices and throughput, this equipment may save energy consumption by over 50% and the capital cost can be decreased by 30%-40%. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
