摘要：

Halecania robertcurtisii is described as new to science from thy sandstone cliffs and overhangs in Ohio, USA, in eastern North America. It has a smooth and continuous to rimose-areolate thallus, pseudolecanorine apothecia with reddish to rust colored disks, and lacks lichen substances. The species is similar to Halecania subsquamosa but lacks the diagnostic unidentified terpenoid present in that taxon.
