Path re-routing algorithm for mobile IP service at the ATM-based MPLS network

摘要：
This paper proposes the Multiprotocol Protocol Label Swiching (MPLS) based hierarchical Mobile IP architecture to allow frequent and seamless location management and Label Switched Path (LSP) setup operations. In our research, when a mobile node (MN) migrates to the adjacent subnet, it performs regional registration and partial LSP re-establishment method. So our scheme should reduce LSP setup latency than existing Integration of Mobile IP and MPLS. We also propose Multicast re-routing scheme to support smooth handover on the MPLS-based hierarchical Mobile EP network after analyzing serveral LSP re-routing scheme.
