Dealing with semantics in relational to XML mapping for enhancing interoperability

摘要：
We propose in this paper a relational model able to integrate the semantics of the conceptual model. The relational schemas obtained are qualified as logic because they can be directly implemented with a RDBMS. Such a semantic model can enhance management and use of relational databases very greatly. It facilitates notably interoperability and integration with other databases. In particular we show how it permits to publish data in XML documents enriched with semantic features.
