摘要：
The author explores the possibilities of adapting his framework of references for intercultural competence to the situation of Romanian engineers. He explains the importance of intercultural competence in the light of a changing society and globalisation. He elaborates the framework and eventually proposes descriptors as start for discussion in the search for intercultural competences for (Romanian) engineers.
