摘要
Currently, the railroad complies with stringent security requirements. A key element from the point of view of security is the condition of the wheels of railway vehicles. From the standpoint of maintenance, ensuring the optimum state of wheels is always a priority, so the development of advanced inspection methods of the wheels (both external geometry and internal defects) is nowadays more relevant in the sector. This paper presents an innovative ultrasonic inspection system in railway resilient wheels, incorporating full automation of the measurement process, diagnosis and management of information, all without having to remove any wheel.
